Acknowledgement of country

Goddess in a suit acknowledges the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, as the original inhabitants and the traditional custodians of the land in which I live and work upon. I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. I pay my deep respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and their elders past and present.

Acknowledgment of diversity

Goddess in a suit is a place for all, being a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself I am desiring this space to be inclusive of all people of different races, colour, identities and abilities.

We acknowledge that in using ‘Goddess’ this could infer that this space is only for people who identify as female however we want to assure you this is not the case. Goddess is being used as an acknowledgement that we all have both feminine and masculine energies within us regardless of gender or sex and we need both energies in order to feel completely supported. In lieu of better descriptive terms…..masucline and feminine energies are widely understood and used to describe how to come to balance within ourselves by acknowledge all of our energy. Unfortunately a lot of our society is unbalanced towards appreciating, celebrating and encouraging masculine energies only, through structure, discipline, drive and motivation. We believe it’s time to celebrate that we have a balance of energies within us all and by nurturing our feminine essence, we allow the feminine energies of creativity, flow and ease to shine through and have a much needed space within our society.
